Kawal Tiger Reserve is located at Jannaram mandal of Adilabad district in Telangana state of India.Govt of India declared Kawal wildlife sanctuary as Tiger Reserve in 2012.The reserve has a low tiger density at present but has a tremendous potential as a source area with stepped up protection and habitat amelioration under Project Tiger.

By Air :
Hyderabad and Nagpur have respective airports.
By Rail :
Alidabad has a railway station which has excellent connectivity to different locations. There are frequent trains also which run to Hyderabad. Mancherial is a nearby railway station which is around 225 km from Hyderabad.
By Road :
The localities of this city prefer reaching this tiger reserve by bus. There is a main center in Hyderabad from where regular semi deluxe and deluxe buses run for Alidabad.
